DarkZero Esports signed the former Reignite Apex Legends roster
North American esports organization DarkZero Esports has announced the signing of its first Apex Legends roster. Confirming all the early rumors, the club bought the former Australian squad Reignite, which is one of the leaders in the competitive scene at the moment.
Tune in this Thursday, July 7th to watch the reigning Split 2 champions defend their title at the Apex Legends Global Series: 2022 Championship in Raleigh, NC.
The Australian team was formed in January last year. In a year and a half, the team managed to win the SteelSeries Prime Invitational, ALGS Winter Circuit #4 - APAC South, ALGS: 2021 Split 1 Pro League - APAC South, ALGS: 2022 Split 2 Pro League - APAC South and ALGS: 2022 Split 2 Playoffs, as well as take second place in the ALGS: 2022 Split 1 Playoffs - APAC South.
The nearest championship for the team will be the Apex Legends Global Series 2022 Championship, where DarkZero Esports will come as one of the favorites. The Australian team will compete in Group A along with the following opponents: esports team, AYM Esports, 100 Thieves, Acend, FENNEL, Spacestation Gaming, Crazy Raccoon, Buriram United Esports and ZETA DIVISION.
The Apex Legends Global Series: 2022 Championship itself will be held from July 7 to 10 in Raleigh at the PNC Arena. As part of the championship, 40 participants from all over the world will compete for a prize pool of $2,000,000.
