Trisha Sugita is the new CMO at Cloud9
North American esports organization Cloud9 has announced the appointment of Trisha Sugita as its new chief marketing officer. Note that she was recently fired from the post of CEO of the FlyQuest organization.
The announcement was made via a video posted to the Cloud9 organization's Twitter, in which the organization's founder and CEO, Jack Etienne, introduces a new employee.
Trisha Sugita, new CMO at Cloud9: "I've been in esports for a long time, but I think this may be the first time I've felt my potential is truly limitless. I've always had a mission to bring happiness and joy to people wherever i go and i'm really happy to be able to bring that to our fans.I will work on the brand, on the vision of the company and share with you guys our "why" Our "why" is the most important why we got into esports, why we have this brand, why we do what we do, the titles we bring, and the initiatives we launch."
Sugita will be based at Cloud9 headquarters in Santa Monica, California, reporting directly to Etienne. According to the organization, she will lead the organization's global marketing efforts across all verticals, including campaigns and sponsored activations.
