Michael Choi is the new CEO of FlyQuest

North American esports organization FlyQuest has announced the appointment of Michael Choi to the position of CEO. However, current CEO Trisha Sugita is leaving the esports club.

Choi previously served as Senior Project Manager and COO at FlyQuest, and was the organization's COO prior to taking up his new role.

Prior to joining FlyQuest in 2019, Choi worked for Snap and the Professional Esports Association. Choi reportedly led and supported FlyQuest's marketing, product, operations, financial and legal efforts during his tenure.

Michael Choi, new CEO of FlyQuest: "Trisha's leadership and vision over the past few years has brought FlyQuest to where we are today, and as the new CEO, this is a very big responsibility. I have a clear vision of where we need to go further, and our team and players remain committed to the greater cause of FlyQuest."

In his new role, Choi is expected to lead the expansion of FlyQuest's League of Legends team, as well as support the development of the Super Smash Melee division.

In turn, Trisha Sugita first joined FlyQuest in 2018 after working at Immortals. She was the organization's chief operating officer for over two years before being named CEO of FlyQuest.
