Mcers announces partnership with Dolce & Gabbana
Italian esports organization Mcers has announced a partnership with luxury clothing brand Dolce & Gabbana. As part of the deal, Mcers will reportedly be part of a new project called "gooDGame" with capital letters referring to the brand's initials.
The project will release an eight-episode mini-series that follows the lives of the main characters from four different teams in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. Instead of simply focusing on the routines of teams in gaming houses and the challenges of a professional esports player, the series will promote the exchange of experience between organizations and involved players.
Thomas De Gasperi, President of Mcers: "The collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana is the consecration of the path that Mcers has been on for five years, promoting the values of exclusivity and style in the esports sector. The activation we created is unique in its kind and will strengthen the internationalization process that represents a further evolutionary step for us."
The Dolce & Gabbana brand will be present for eight episodes, and a capsule collection aimed at gamers will be released during the project. GooDGame episodes will be produced by Frame by Frame.
Interestingly, the deal was confirmed just days after the Italian brand hit the esports headlines by launching the Gucci Gaming Academy with FACEIT.
