Epic Games Announces Fortnite LAN Tournament

Epic Games has announced the first Fortnite LAN tournament since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. The developers announced this on their social networks.

In-person Fortnite events are back! We are happy to share the good news: we are planning to hold a closed Fortnite 2022 mini-championship in person! It will be held on November 12 and 13 in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. Of course, in any face-to-face event, the health and safety of the players is our number one priority. If the epidemiological situation, regional laws or recommendations change, we may reschedule the event or change plans.

We will invite the best mini-championship participants from all over the world and invite them to fight in one lobby for their share of the total prize of 1 million USD! We'll have more details on the Fortnite 2022 Closed Mini Championship in the coming months.

At the same time, the organizers added that the FNCS Invitational 2022 may be postponed or even canceled if the epidemiological situation, regional laws or US government recommendations change.

FNCS Invitational 2022 will be held on November 12 and 13 in Raleigh, USA. The participants of the championship will compete for a prize of $1,000,000. The developers promised to present the composition of the participants and other details of the championship in the near future.
