TSM parts ways with Indian Free Fire roster

The North American eSports organization TSM has announced the parting with its Indian Free Fire roster. The corresponding decision was made after the ban on the game at the government level in India. This was told by Jeff "SuiJeneris" Chau, director of the club's mobile direction.

TSM IND was formed last summer. During this time, the Indian team has undergone minor changes in the composition, and also became the winner of ESports Premier League 2021 and Survivor's Throne Season 1. In addition, the team has silver medals for Free Fire Pro League India 2021 Summer, BOOYAH! League Summer 2021 and Villager Esports Winter Masters.

The last tournament for TSM IND was Upthrust Esports Challengers Showdown Season 1, following which the team took tenth place.

Recall that in mid-February, the Indian government banned 54 applications from the App Store and Google Play stores owned by Chinese companies. Together with them, the popular "royal battle" Free Fire from the publisher Garena was also banned. The main reason behind the massive bans is that these apps have been collecting data about Indian citizens and sharing that information with third parties.

The latest TSM IND lineup is as follows:

  • OLDMONK.
  • MRJAYYT.
  • ILLUMINATI.
  • INSANE.14.
  • KOUSHIK.
