uThermal left the ranks of Team Liquid in StarCraft II
European esports organization Team Liquid has announced changes to the StarCraft II team after parting ways with uThermal. The 26-year-old Dutch esportsman has represented the club's colors since September 2016. The organization thanked the player for their cooperation and wished them good luck in future endeavors.
After an impressive five-year partnership with the organization, today we announce the departure of uThermal. Thank you for your time with us, Mark, and best of luck in your future endeavors.
uThermal joined the ranks of Team Liquid in the fall of 2016, having moved from the camp of AT Gaming. In five and a half years at the club, the 26-year-old Dutch esportsman has won numerous championships, including WardiTV Team Liquid Map Contest #3, SC2 Royal #6: Team Edition, DSCL Nationals 2018, January Series Finals, DSCL Open 2017 and The BaseTrade Bubba Burger brawl.
The last big tournament for uThermal as a member of Team Liquid was IEM Katowice 2022, according to which the player took 25-26th place, earning $950.
