FaZe Clan and Manchester City announce event at Etihad Stadium
The North American esports organization FaZe Clan has announced a joint event with the English football club Manchester City. As part of the collaboration, the two sides will open a merchandise store ahead of the club's upcoming match against Liverpool FC scheduled for April 10.
This event will be the first FaZe Clan event to take place outside of the United States. The event will feature a range of new co-branded merchandise, in addition to performances from a range of content creators and talent from both organizations.
This is not the first time that the organization and the club have joined forces. The parties first collaborated in 2019 through merchandise and co-hosting the FaZe City Cup, a Fortnite tournament that included Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.
Manchester City's esports division is made up of players representing the club in FIFA and Fortnite competitions. Along with FaZe Clan, its list of partners includes companies such as telecommunications provider Etisalat and tire manufacturer Nexen Tire.
