Derek Lew, Guild Esports Board of Directors Representative: "I would like to thank Simon, Andrew, Chris and James on behalf of the entire Guild Esports team for their advice and contributions to the company. I would also like to say hello to Mike and Brian who will bring fresh and relevant control Board of Directors behind Guild Esports' growth strategy. We have a solid executive leadership team and excellent prospects. As a result, the Board is looking to the future with confidence."

The company detailed the management changes during a trading update on the London Stock Exchange website. As part of the announcement, Guild Esports also noted that the company has "continued to trade with management's expectations" since its last financial report.

If the proposed changes are approved by Guild Esports shareholders, the company's board of directors will include chief executive Cal Hourd, as well as Derek Lew, Mike Edwards, Brian Stockbridge and David Gardner.
