ESL Gaming and ESPAT sign a joint agreement

Esports championship organizer ESL Gaming has announced an exclusive image licensing partnership with the ESPAT platform. As part of the deal, ESPAT will become the official distribution partner for photos from the Intel Extreme Masters Series and ESL Pro League. The agreement comes into force with IEM Katowice 2022, which continues this week.

As a result, ESPAT will work with the ESL Gaming photography team to capture and share key moments throughout the IEM and EPL competitive season. The images will then be distributed on the ESPAT platform for editorial use.

As part of the collaboration, the parties reportedly plan to explore opportunities that drive innovation in licensing, including the use of ESPAT technology to unlock interactivity in ESL digital images.
