PGL renews partnership with IMG
Esports tournament organizer PGL has expanded and renewed its partnership with IMG. From now on, the agency will manage PGL's media rights worldwide throughout 2022. In addition, IMG will become the exclusive sponsoring agency for PGL.

The first event to take place under the new partnership is the upcoming PGL Major Antwerp 2022 CS:GO in Belgium. Both sides announced that IMG would also work together and use the experience of RTS.
Joe Jenkins, Commercial Manager at IMG: "We were thrilled to be working with PGL on last year's CS:GO Major which had a record high audience of 2.74 million viewers, 120 hours of airtime and was distributed in 27 languages. The championship was the most successful event yet. in CS:GO of all time and we look forward to working with PGL again and continuing this success in 2022."
Recall that PGL and IMG have been working together since 2018. It is noted that IMG has played an important role for PGL by securing a number of media rights deals for the operator's major esports events.
