Immortals and SPORTFIVE become partners
North American esports company Immortals has announced a partnership with sports marketing agency SPORTFIVE. As part of the deal, SPORTFIVE will become the exclusive agency dedicated to commercial sales for the organization. Together, the parties will focus on revenue generation, business development, sponsorship integration and partnership development.
Jordan Sherman, CEO of Immortals: “Immortals are under attack and we are experiencing a period of rapid growth. We are moving our business operations to the Great Lakes region, we are actively recruiting new partners, we are expanding through new disciplines and we are taking a special approach that makes we pioneered the gaming ecosystem. SPORTFIVE has been an excellent partner in creating a differentiated value proposition that we can offer to our brand partners. We are delighted to continue to connect to their unique network to help propel our business forward during this period of growth. "
Note that SPORTFIVE is known for its partnerships with a number of traditional sports clubs, but is playing an increasingly active role in the esports industry. SPORTFIVE previously helped Fnatic close a major deal with fashion brand ASOS.
Eicke Gyllensward, SPORTFIVE: "Following the recent expansion of our esports team in the US, we are proud to partner with Immortals to help further the team's commercial development."
According to the press release, SPORTFIVE recently acquired Build a Rocket, an esports consulting and activation agency, which is now the company's esports consulting and activations division.
