Guild Esports partners with PlayStation
UK esports organization Guild Esports has announced a partnership with PlayStation to create the "Guild Academy Challenge", a new FIFA 22 tournament starting today, December 13th. Guild Esports announced that the tournament will be open to all European players who play on the PlayStation 4 and are authorized on PlayStation Plus.
Cal Hourd, Executive Director of Guild Esports: “We are delighted that PlayStation has chosen us to create a new tournament that builds on the success of past FIFA tournaments, which attract thousands of participants every year. By connecting Guild Esports to PlayStation, we expect to attract a significant number of students to our Guild Academy to support their growth and development. "
The tournament will run from December 13-15, and participants will also have online access to the Guild Academy for six months. The winner will be given the opportunity to win a PlayStation 5, meet Guild Esports players and take part in professional online coaching.
Note that at the beginning of this year, Guild Esports and Subway held a similar FIFA championship open to everyone.
