ZOWIE becomes an official partner of PGL Major Stockholm 2021
ZOWIE, the esports arm of tech company BenQ, becomes an official partner of PGL Major Stockholm 2021. As part of the agreement, the company will provide monitors to all teams participating in the championship in Stockholm.
This tournament will be the 16th CS: GO Major and the first in two years after ESL One: Rio was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Due to the restrictions caused by the pandemic, there were lengthy negotiations about a major move from the Swedish capital and attempts to organize a championship with spectators. However, due to the spectator restrictions canceled on September 15, the event will remain in Stockholm with a live audience in attendance at the playoffs to be held at Avicii Arena.
ZOWIE becomes the second partner of PGL Major Stockholm 2021 to join gaming chair manufacturer Secretlab. The manufacturer will equip the Avicii Arena with their own chairs for players to use during the competition. As a reminder, PGL Major Stockholm 2021 starts on October 26 and ends on November 7.
