Wings Gaming will not participate in Dota Pit League Season 5

The management of organization will not have enough time to solve all visa issues before the beginning of the tournament.

Another team decided to withdraw from participation in Dota Pit League Season 5. This time, it is current champions of the world Wings Gaming. They gave preference to ESL One Genting 2017 tournament. The team received direct invites to both tournaments however as the events are hold only 12 days apart, the management of the Chinese team will have no time to get visas to Croatia.

Previously, Newbie decided to withdraw this event and also gave preference to ESL One Genting 2017. At the beginning of November, the organizers lost another participant - Fanatic gave the slot to Team Faceless because of disband.

List of participants of LAN-finalists:

The LAN-finals will take place on January 20-22 on Spaladium Arena in Split, Croatia. 8 teams will participate in tournament, two of them received direct invites. The prize pool for the event is $125,000.
