Team Ukraine are to miss WESG 2017

The manager of the Ukrainian Dota 2 roster, Vitaliy «V1lat» Volochay explained the reasons of missing WESG 2017.

The main reason of the tournament is players’ availability and the fact that they had no time to get a visa for China.

Vitaliy also expressed indignation concerning the organizers of the championship who made a conflict in the timetable for many players and apologised to their fans who were waiting for the performance of Team Ukraine cheering for the Ukrainian national team.

WESG 2017 World Finals will happen on 13-18 March in China. The prize pool of the tournament will be $1,500,000, and the main money reward will be $800,000.

There is no information about what will happen to the Ukrainian collective’s slot.
