Team Onyx and SG-esports represent America in The Kiev Major

Team Onyx won closed regional qualifiers to The Kiev Major 2017 in North America, and SG-esports became the best team in the South America region.

Team Onyx lost matches against compLexity and Team NP in the group stage, but managed to pass to the play-off stage taking the third place. In play-off, the team demonstrated absolutely different level of the game and defeated opponents from the group stage receiving a ticket to Kiev.

Qualification bracket:

SG e-sports were the favorites of South America qualifiers and managed to prove this status taking the first place in the group. However, in play-off, they had some problems. In the semi-final they lost match against Not Today and moved to the lower bracket. Still, in the final match they took a revenge. Thus, we will see the first Brazilian team in the Valve major tournament in Dota 2 discipline.
