Team Faceless and WG.Unity qualified to The Boston Major
Team Faceless and WarriorsGaming.Unity successfully passed the qualification to The Boston Major after the winnings in matches against Fnatic and Mineski on the South Asia qualifiers.
Faceless is the team gathered by Daryl Koh "iceiceice" Pei Xiang and Dominik "Black^" Reitmeier after TI6. They qualified for the upcoming event with ease.
WG.Unity got the chance to qualify in the lower bracket. First, they defeated Fnatic with 2:1 score in the first match, and after that, they won the final match against Mineski with 2:0 score.
The failure of Fnatic is shocking especially if we recall their 3-4 place in The International 6. Since August, the team had several changes and replaced members with TNC Pro Team players, who have also demonstrated an impressive game at TI. However, the results of the team during the qualifiers to Boston major prove that the team should continue working on their team play and strategy. Perhaps, Jimmy "DeMoN" Ho, a new captain of the team will help reach the desired results.
Also, the disqualifying of the Fnatic means that The Boston Major will be the first Valve event without Chong «Ohaiyo» Xin Khoo and Chai "Mushi" Yee Fung since The International 2012.
