Team Empire fought its way to The Summit 7

The CIS team could overcome its opponent Vega Squadron in the final of the online tournament LootBet and became the 8th participant of The Summit 7. 8 teams took part in LootBet Invitational, two of them had passed through the preliminary closed qualification and six — received direct invitations. All matches were hosted in a best-of-three (Bo3) format and the Grand Final match — in a best-of-five (Bo5) format. Team Empire had overcome Vega Squadron in the upper bracket but later Vega got to its main opponents having fought its way through the lower bracket. Despite a bigger desire and a motivation to win, Vega Squadron could not win Empire and the last one won a trip to The Summit 7. The 7th season of The Summit will be hosted in the suburb of Los-Angeles on June 14-18. 8 teams will meet in the villa to get in an informal atmosphere and to divide the prize pool in the sum of $100,000. 4 teams have received direct invitations to The Summit 7 and other 4 participants have passed through qualifying rounds.
