SoNNeiko is no longer a Vega Squadron player
The representatives of Vega Squadron esports club announced that Akbar «SoNNeikO» Butaev left the organization. After the end of qualifiers to The Kiev Major 2017, the esportsman took a break in his playing career and decided to become a substitute. The management gathered a new roster, but there was no place for Akbar there.
Georgy Faleev, sports director of Vega Squadron, comments the situation:
«Just after the end of qualifiers to The Kiev Major, Akbar took a break for several weeks and almost did not participate in the formation of a new roster taking the place of a substitute player. Some time later, we’ve understood that we would not change a roster, and for such a player as SoNNeikO being a substitute is too easy and boring. He has already found a new team, and the official transfer will be announced soon. I want to say thanks to Akbar for the months that he’s spent with Vega Squadron and for the work that he’s done, and to wish him good luck in a new team.»
For the time spent under Vega Squadron tag, Akbar managed to help the team to win several qualifiers, to win Royal Arena #2 and take the second place on WellPlay Invitational #7.
