First information about 8 season of DreamLeague championship appeared, the final part of which will take place on December 1 – 4. Teams from 4 regions will participate in the tournament, and the organizers fulfilled all the demands to get a Major status for the event.

Sign Up- North and South America - 3 slots for LAN-finals
- Europe and CIS - 3 slots for LAN-finals
- China - 1 slot for LAN-final
- SEA - 1 slot for LAN-final
The organizers will host this championship during the DreamHack Winter 2017 esports festival, that will take place on December 1 – 4. The first matches of the divisions will start in September. It will be possible to get into each division by invitation or open regional qualifiers. The details of the qualifiers are still unknown.
