Beastcoast Signs Sixth Dota 2 Player
In the beastcoast Facebook group, the club announced the signing of Junior Reyes 'Yadomi' Rimari. He will be on the team as a substitute player. Previously, he played in various teams as a fifth position player. He will probably replace Steven 'StingeR' Vargas in the new roster.
This decision was most likely made due to the missed ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021. The team could not take part in the event, as StingeR fell ill with COVID-19 and could not compete in the tournament because of this. The organization reported that the esportsman, due to his imprudent behavior, will be fined, as he violated the quarantine, which led to the skipping of the first Major tournament of the 2020/2021 season. It is noteworthy that beastcoast, thanks to their brilliant performance in DPC 2021 Season 1 South America Upper Division, should have started their journey to ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021 from the playoffs.
Just like in the first season, the team will play in the top division in DPC 2021 Season 2. Tonight, the squad will face off against Hokori for the first time in this league.
