Team Assault Disqualified from DPC 2021 SEA Lower Division

Well-known insider Wykrhm Reddy announced that Team Assault left DPC 2021 SEA Lower Division without taking part in any of the matches. This information was confirmed by representatives of the information portal Liquipedia. The team was replaced by Army Geniuses by the right of a participant, who finished 9-10th in the qualifying round. The Prime was also on the 9-10th line, but the slot was transferred to Army Geniuses, as the latter showed a better performance in comparison with the aforementioned team - the score was 4-6 for Army Geniuses versus 3-7 for The Prime.

DPC 2021 SEA Lower Division will run from January 18 to March 14. Its total prize pool will be $ 75,000. The top two teams will receive invitations to the top division of the second season. The winner will take home a cash prize of $ 17,000, and the silver medalist - $ 16,000.

As a reminder, DPC 2021 SEA Upper Division with a prize pool of $ 205,000 will also take place in parallel with the events in the lower division. There will also be played 1,150 DPC points, 2 invites to the Major tournament and 1 invitation to the Wild Card competition, where additional invites to the Major championship will be divided between the participants.
