Valve Urgently Updates Dota 2 to Restore Lone Druid, Leaving Players Divided
Valve has released an urgent update for Dota 2 that has reintroduced Lone Druid, a hero previously removed from the game due to his ability to crash matchmaking servers.
The Dota 2 community on Reddit quickly reacted to Valve's decision.
While many players are pleased with the return of Lone Druid, some users report that the hero continues to cause game-breaking issues that crash matches. Players had hoped that when Valve removed the hero, they would not only fix the critical server crash bug but also address balance issues. Lone Druid remains one of the strongest heroes in Dota 2 in patch 7.37, and the recent update did not address his overpowering abilities.
Players are now urging the developers to also address the balance problem. Lone Druid's nearly 100% evasion build continues to disrupt matchmaking by making him almost invulnerable to physical attacks.
