Peru BOOM Esports Drops Star Player ILICH-: Who Will Fill the Gap in Their Dota 2 Lineup?
Peru's BOOM Esports, a prominent South American esports organization, has officially removed their offlaner, Peru's Mario "ILICH-" Valdivia, from their Dota 2 team. This development was confirmed by the player himself via Twitter.
ILICH- had been playing for BOOM Esports since December of the previous year and has amassed $66,000 in prize earnings over his professional Dota 2 career. The team has not yet announced a replacement for the now-vacant position.
Recently, BOOM Esports secured a 13th-14th place finish at the Dota 2 Elite League, an online championship event.
