Larl is the new mid-laner of Team Spirit
A video announcement of a new player has appeared on the YouTube channel of the eSports club Team Spirit, who will take the place of the departed Alexander 'TORONTOTOKYO' Khertek. Now Denis 'Larl' Sigitov, known for his performances in BetBoom, will play in the mid lane under the banner of Spirit.
The 20-year-old mid player started his career on the professional Dota 2 scene in 2021 under the VP.Prodigy tag, after which he continued his career at Winstrike, and then at BetBoom. As part of the latter, he achieved most of his achievements, including reaching The International 2022. There he did not go far and took 19-20th place, thanks to which the team earned a prize of $47,228.
In the updated roster, Larl will join Ilya 'Yatoro' Mulyarchuk, Magomed 'Collapse' Khalilov, Miroslav 'Mira' Kolpakov and Yaroslav 'Miposhka' Naydenov.
Earlier, Team Spirit laconically announced the departure of TORONTOTOKYO from the roster, without naming the reasons for such a decision. Recall that Alexander Hertek and his teammates became the winner of The International 2021 and received the biggest prize in the history of esports in the amount of $ 18,208,300. This year, the performance of the CIS team failed and Spirit took 13-16th place in TI 2022, earning a prize of $283,931.
