Evil Geniuses introduced a new Dota 2 roster
The North American esports organization Evil Geniuses has officially unveiled a new Dota 2 roster. As expected, the club signed former players Thunder Awaken and beastcoast, moving to Latin America.
The backbone of the new Evil Geniuses team is Pakazs, Matthew and Pandaboo, former Thunder Awaken players. Together, the Peruvians spent the last season, noting themselves with victories at BTS Pro Series Season 9: Americas, DPC SA 2021/2022 Tour 1: Division I, BTS Pro Series Season 10: Americas, DPC SA 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division I and DPC SA 2021 /2022 Tour 3: Division I, as well as a confident performance at The International 2022 (5th-6th place).
Together with them, Chris Luck and Wisper joined the team. Both esportsmen spent three seasons with beastcoast, where they became the winners of ESL One Los Angeles 2020 - Online: South America, OGA DPC South America Regional League Season 1: Upper Division and DPC SA 2021/2022 Tour 1: Regional Final, and also took second place in OGA DPC South America Regional League Season 2: Upper Division and DPC SA 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I, among others.
Vintage becomes the new coach of Evil Geniuses - a 26-year-old Peruvian specialist worked for eight months at Thunder Awaken, taking the team to the international level.
The roster manager was Guashineen, who previously worked in a similar position for beastcoast for three years.
The debut of the team will take place as part of the first season of DPC 2022/2023. However, the organization did not specify whether the slot in the first division remained with the players, or whether Evil Geniuses will start its journey with open qualifiers.
