BOOM Esports part ways with TIMS
Indonesian esports organization BOOM Esports has announced another change in its Dota 2 roster, parting ways with TIMS. Recall that the 25-year-old Filipino support has been playing for the team since September last year. At the same time, at the beginning of the month, the cybersportsman announced that he was preparing to become a free agent. However, at that time, TIMS was still discussing a contract extension with the organization for the next season.
Today we made the difficult decision to mutually part ways with TIMS. A difficult step, but sometimes changes are needed. Thank you for everything you have done for the BOOM Esports Dota 2 team over the years. We will keep the memories forever. Good luck in the future, TIMS.
TIMS joined BOOM Esports last fall after moving from TNC Predator. During this time, the 25-year-old Filipino player helped the team win BTS Pro Series Season 8: Southeast Asia, BTS Pro Series Season 9: Southeast Asia, DPC SEA 2021/2022 Tour 1: Division I, DPC SEA 2021/2022 Tour 1: Regional Final, GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022, GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Thailand 2022 and BTS Pro Series Season 12: Southeast Asia.
In addition, together with BOOM Esports, he managed to reach the playoffs of ESL One Stockholm 2022, PGL Arlington Major 2022 and The International 2022, thus defining the season for the team as prosperous.
Note that this is not the only change in the line-up of the Indonesian club over the past week, since the organization also said goodbye to JaCkky a few days ago.
