Nikobaby and Oli to make SMG debut at Asia Pacific Predator League

The big reshuffle takes place in all Dota 2 competitive regions and Southeast Asia is no exception. He recently touched Team SMG who are now ready to show off their new roster for the upcoming Asia Pacific Predator League.

Newcomers to SMG will be retired Alliance legend Nikobaby and former Invictus Gaming and Talon Esports member Oli, a Malaysian. The first Asia Pacific Predator League will be on a test period, but only on November 7, Talon Esports moved, and therefore it is unlikely that he will join the MidOne team on a permanent basis.

Nikobaby began his journey on the professional stage back in 2014 with a performance for the Gplay mix. He gained his first popularity with the transition to Minesky in 2019.

With a team from Southeast Asia, the Bulgarian took TOP-9-12 at The International 2019. After Mineski, he joined Alliance, with whom he spent three years: he took TOP-4 at DreamLeague Season 13, 2nd at StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor Season 3, won DreamLeague Season 15 DPC Western Europe Upper DIvision. He also entered the TOP-12 at The International 2021, after which he spent an absolutely disastrous season in 2022, flying out of the first division of Western Europe and missing The International 2022.

The second interim, Oli, has been on the competitive scene since 2017. Managed to play for Geek Fam, Invictus Gaming and Talon Esports. With IG in 2021, he reached the TOP-4 of The International 2021.

Asia Pacific Predator League will be held from November 11 to 13 in Japan. 14 teams will play for the prize pool of $120,000.
