Darkmago leaves Thunder Awaken
Darkmago has announced his departure from Thunder Awaken 's Dota 2 roster. The 23-year-old Peruvian cybersportsman announced this on his personal Facebook page.
The performance was good, but it's not what we expected. We thought that we would go further and win. In part it was a good experience that will help us in the future, I really enjoyed playing with all my teammates who became great friends in a short time, especially the Pakazs and Sacred. It's time to go your own way. I hope everyone is doing well, good luck in everything you do.
Darkmago joined Thunder Awaken at the start of last season when the Peruvian organization signed NoPing e-sports roster. Together with the team, the 23-year-old esportsman managed to win BTS Pro Series Season 9: Americas, DPC SA 2021/2022 Tour 1: Division I, BTS Pro Series Season 10: Americas, DPC SA 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division I and DPC SA 2021 /2022 Tour 3: Division I.
In addition, as part of Thunder Awaken, he managed to get into the TOP-6 at ESL One Stockholm 2022, ESL One Malaysia 2022 and The International 2022.
It is unclear if other changes are planned for the Latin American team. At this time, the organization has not issued an official statement regarding Darkmago's departure.
