Team Spirit hints at keeping the roster for next season
The Russian-Serbian esports organization Team Spirit has hinted at retaining its Dota 2 roster next season. In the description of the latest video on the YouTube channel, the club thanked the fans for their support and promised to return.
Thanks to all the fans who have always been and remain with us. Miposhka, Mira, Collapse, Torontotokyo and YATOROGOD will return next season.
The original roster of Team Spirit was formed at the end of 2020, when the organization signed the backbone of Yellow Submarine. Over the next two seasons, the team became the winner of BTS Pro Series Season 4: Europe/CIS, Dota 2 Champions League Season 1, Pinnacle Cup, Dota 2 Champions League Season 2, The International 2021, DPC EEU 2021/2022 Tour 1: Regional Final and PGL Arlington Major 2022.
In addition, the Dragons made it to the top three at ESL One DPC Eastern Europe Season 2: Upper Division, OGA Dota PIT Invitational, DPC EEU 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division I Playoffs, DPC EEU 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I and Riyadh Masters 2022.
However, full-fledged talk about a change in the composition of Team Spirit appeared after an unsuccessful performance at The International 2022, where the team at first did not reveal itself at the group stage, and then lost to BOOM Esports and took only 13-16th place. At the same time, information was leaked to the media about the upcoming departure of TORONTOTOKYO, who was going to build his team together with Save- and Nightfall.
Team Spirit's current Dota 2 roster:
- Yatoro
- TORONTOTOKYO
- collapse
- Mira
- Miposhka
- Silent (coach)
