Patch 7.31d broke Dota TV
On June 9th, Valve released the long-awaited patch 7.31d, the details of which we wrote earlier. However, the problem showed up almost immediately. Players are experiencing a crash when trying to watch matches via Dota TV. Moreover, it does not depend on whether you want to watch a public match or a rating match as part of the DPC season.
Fans are thrown out of the match after the heroes exit the fountain at the very beginning of the confrontation. Some players still have the ability to track drafts.
It is not yet clear whether this is a common bug that developers will be able to fix with a separate update, or whether this is a conscious decision by Valve to start fighting community casters in order to draw more attention to official Dota 2 broadcasts.
