Epic Esports Events announced their readiness to host the second round of DPC 2021/2022 in Eastern Europe
Tournament operator Epic Esports Events issued an official statement in which he announced his readiness to host the second round of DPC 2021/2022 in Eastern Europe. At the same time, the organizers doubt that Valve will find a way to resume the league in a short time, risking disrupting the season.
We do not consider it ethical to make our discussions with Valve public. All we can say is that we are ready and we have every opportunity to fulfill the tasks specified in the contract between Valve and the tournament operator of the DPC season. Valve has been notified of this. It is not easy to find a replacement for us in a short time, the situation threatens to disrupt the season, which is why we offered the publisher to continue working under the contract.
We call on all participants in the negotiation process to adhere to uniform rules of communication and to observe the level of confidentiality expected from us.
Recall that earlier Valve announced the rules for the resumption of DPC 2021/2022 in Eastern Europe. In addition, Valve added that the company cannot conclude a contract with a new tournament operator that will host DPC 2021/2022 in Eastern Europe instead of Epic Esports Events until the exact dates and format of the championship are decided.
