PGL Dota 2 Major Arlington 2022 dates announced

It has been revealed that PGL is organizing the last DPC Major of the 21/22 season in Arlington, Texas, USA. The largest esports venue in North America, Esports Stadium Arlington, will be the battleground for 18 of the world's best teams as they battle it out for a $500,000 prize pool and one last chance to earn points to qualify for The International, the main event of the DOTA 2 season.

PGL also announced that the Major will be held with spectators in the arena, which means that fans will be able to cheer live for the first time in a long time. The last such event on North American soil was the Boston Major in 2016.

DOTA 2 has a lot of fans in the US, and Arlington has the perfect venue for a tournament of this caliber: Esports Stadium. We were lucky to be back in North America with another Major after Boston. We love doing events in the USA and we have great memories of 2016, it was a great tournament and the fans were fantastic. It will be great to hold a grand tournament with DOTA 2 enthusiasts in the stands after a long time!
