Team Spirit is asking journalists to stop harassing esportsmen playing in the Dota 2 roster. In their opinion, the excitement has already died down, and the players finally deserve a rest. According to them, The International 10 has exhausted both players and other Spirit workers, both mentally and physically. They published the following statement in their telegram:

Dear colleagues, thank you for your close attention to our organization and your continued requests for interviews, filming and comments.

We are glad that for most non-core media we have become a kind of guide to the world of esports and we really appreciate your interest. Over the past week, we have tried to cover the life of the players and their reaction to victory as much as possible, as well as give everyone the opportunity to ask questions of interest, both with a personal request and at a press conference.

However, we ask you to understand that the Team Spirit Dota 2 roster went through a very difficult tournament. The players, coaching staff and management are mentally and physically exhausted and in need of rest. We ask you to respect their right to rest and give them the opportunity to spend time with family and friends.

Our media department will gladly answer any of your requests and will be ready to form an answer to them based on the players' schedule and upcoming tournaments.

Thank you for understanding,

Brand Director Team Spirit

Konstantin Machaidze

Ilya 'Yatoro' Mulychuk, who plays in Team Spirit as a carry, previously said that the esports players were sent on vacation for a month. The team will go home and begin preparations for the new DPC season. Recently, Maria 'Inverno' Gunina, Alliance manager, announced that Dota Pro Circuit 2021/2022 could start on November 29, however, no official information has been received from Valve regarding this issue.

The International 10 ran from October 7th to 17th. The total prize pool of the championship was $ 40,018,195. Team Spirit prevailed in this competition and the players earned $ 18,208,300. Before Team Spirit, the victory in The International (in order from 2011 to 2019) was won by such teams as Natus Vincere, Invictus Gaming, Alliance, Newbee, Evil Geniuses, Wings Gaming, Team Liquid and OG, who took the trophy twice.

Earlier, we talked about the fact that the match between Team Spirit and PSG.LGD, which took place as part of The International 10, was included in the six most watched matches in the history of the esports industry. If you missed our material, then we suggest filling the knowledge gap.

Since winning The International, Team Spirit players have given numerous interviews and even appeared on television. Cybersportsmen became guests of the Russian TV show "Evening Urgant", and also held a press conference in which they tried to answer all the questions.
