YZi Labs Invests $100M in Hash Global BNB Holdings Fund: A New Stage in BNB Institutionalization

A significant news has emerged in the cryptocurrency world: YZi Labs, an investment fund formerly known as Binance Labs, has announced a $100 million investment in the BNB Holdings Fund created by Hash Global. This move highlights the growing institutional interest in BNB as a foundational asset with attractive yields, which could accelerate the integration of traditional capital into the Binance Smart Chain ecosystem.

According to the official announcement on X, YZi Labs views BNB as a "fundamental utility asset with attractive yields that powers the future financial infrastructure." YZi Labs' head, Ella Zhang, noted:

"We invite more traditional capital to participate in the structural profits and long-term growth of BNB."

The BNB Holdings Fund is an institutional version of the BNB Yield Fund launched by Hash Global in June 2025, which has already shown 32.5% profitability as of the end of August 2025.

Hash Global, founded in 2018, is one of the first validators of BNB Chain and manages several secondary market funds. The fund offers a diversified yield strategy, including the base price of BNB, allocations to new tokens through launchpads, airdrops and incentives for holders, as well as base yields from storing assets in institutional infrastructure. It provides bi-weekly liquidity for investors and complies with regulatory requirements, making it attractive to traditional financial institutions.

YZi Labs, managing assets over $10 billion, focuses on investments in Web3, AI, and biotechnology, with a portfolio of over 300 projects from more than 25 countries. Reorganized from Binance Labs at the beginning of 2025, the fund now operates as a family office for Binance co-founders Changpeng Zhao (CZ) and Yi He, under the leadership of Ella Zhang. This investment continues previous support for Hash Global's BNB Yield Fund and signals deeper collaboration between the two firms.

Experts in the crypto community note that this move could be a catalyst for broader institutional adoption of BNB. As one commentator on X pointed out:
