The Sandbox became the first client of a company that protects the metaverse
Blockchain security company OpenZeppelin announced the launch of a metaverse security service. The Sandbox has agreed to be the first OpenZeppelin customer.
Now the company that protects the blockchain system will regularly audit smart contracts, find various vulnerabilities and search for potential threats to metaverse projects.
The Sandbox will use OpenZeppelin security tools called Defender, which will provide full visibility into Web3 transactions taking place in The Sandbox world.
Such a tool from OpenZeppelin would be able to fully automate the administration of smart contracts and enable access control, updates, and suspension. In addition, The Sandbox will have the ability to track and quickly respond to errors and exploits of smart contracts, while receiving appropriate notifications via various channels: e-mail, Slack, Telegram, Discord.
