Mintable will support NFT in XRP Ledger
Representatives of Mintable, one of the leading trading platforms and part-time platforms for creating non-fungible tokens, announced the innovations. Now site users will be able to conduct transactions, exchange, buy and sell non-fungible tokens through the XRP Ledger registry. Thus, they expanded the functionality of their platform and will be able to attract an additional number of users who are fans of XRP.
The collaboration between Mintable and Ripple will improve both sides and help create high-quality NFT projects. In addition, independent creators of non-fungible tokens will be able to use the XRPL registry and do so without any codes.
There are many similar systems in the world that are positioned as alternatives to Ethereum, the main crypto asset that gave birth to the industry of non-fungible tokens. Despite this, XRPL’s reliability should benefit creators of new NFTs due to the liquidity of tokenized assets at any scale. In addition, XRP Ledger has a global community of developers who are tasked with providing a solid and flexible foundation using open source code.
The situation was commented on by Mintable Marketing Director Patrick Chin. According to him, the XRP registry is something that will perfectly complement not only the Mintable platform, but the entire NFT ecosystem as a whole. Ripple’s collaboration with influential figures in the world of technological development, according to Patrick, can also have a positive impact on the development of the non-fungible tokens sphere:
XRPL is a valuable addition to the NFT ecosystem. It is a battle-tested and highly secure blockchain that will help overcome the security and environmental barriers to NFT adoption. Ripple has partnered with some of the largest companies in the world and will bring a number of valuable partnerships to the NFT ecosystem. We are excited to join their ranks as a Ripple NFT Partner to help with their NFT initiative and introduce the most secure, resilient, and efficient blockchains to the NFT ecosystem.
Representatives of the other side of the transaction, Ripple, did not stand aside either. Emi Yoshikawa, vice president of the company, believes that the collaboration with Mintable will help attract new participants who can improve Web 3.0 technology:
For over 10 years, XRP Ledger has been a trusted blockchain for developers due to its security, speed, and scalability of asset tokenization. We are excited to partner with Mintable to help attract new contributors and projects creating innovative Web3 projects with real value for the XRP Ledger.
Who are Mintable and why can their collaboration with Ripple bring benefits to both sides of the collaboration? Mintable is a marketplace that provides various features and utilities that can improve the user experience of trading NFT tokens. Among all those involved in the provision of services in the field of purchase/sale of non-fungible tokens, Mintable is known for being the first to be able to implement the technique of gasless minting of NFT tokens. In addition, they were the first to be able to provide the purchase of non-fungible tokens through credit cards. 2021 has been designated for Mintable as a revenue year.
Last year, large investors began to massively express their interest in the innovative NFT platform, and not only little-known people, but also stars of various fields became investors. Mark Cuban, as well as Sound Ventures and TIME Ventures, invested their money in the development of Mintable. Cuban is known for his television and venture capitalism activities. Sound Ventures is a company founded by actors Ashton Kutcher and Guy Osiri. TIME Ventures, in turn, is the investment fund of the famous multi-billionaire Marc Benioff.
Mintable is currently listing and selling many NFTs that are directly related to the fine arts. They sell paintings by various artists and celebrities, including 20th-century avant-garde artists and even Grammy-winning artists.
As mentioned earlier, Mintable provides services not only in the field of buying/selling non-fungible tokens, but also provides various technical solutions to developers. The Mintology division is responsible for this part.
