F_1N returns to the post of Gambit coach
F_1N returns to coach Gambit after being banned by ESIC for 8.75 months for using a camera bug. The 37-year-old will replace groove, who will return to the role of CEO of the organization.
Let us remind you that F_1N was among 37 trainers caught by ESIC in using a bug in September last year. As a result of the investigation, the specialist was removed from work and transferred to the role of the team analyst. According to ESports Watchdog, F_1N exploited the bug in six games between 2017 and 2020 while coaching Gambit Youngsters.
During the absence, the team was led by groove, while F_1N himself watched the rapid ascent of Gambit to the world top, as well as victories at IEM Katowice 2021, BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown 2021, Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Summer and BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2021.
Gambit will only return to the big screens on September 1, when the battles in Group D begin as part of ESL Pro League Season 14, which also includes Ninjas in Pajamas, Liquid, FURIA, TeamOne and Entropiq.
Although F_1N is once again cleared for coaching, he is permanently barred from participating in Valve- sponsored tournaments, given the scale and frequency of bug abuse. As such, groove will take over the leadership of the team in the last RMR event, and will also lead the team to PGL Major Stockholm 2021 if Gambit qualifies for the championship.
From now on, the composition of Gambit is as follows:
- Hobbit.
- sh1ro.
- interz.
- Ax1Le.
- nafany.
- F_1N (coach).
