Winstrike bought out the exclusive rights to conduct Russian-language broadcasts of BLAST Premier 2021 and BLAST Premier 2022
Representatives of the esports organization Winstrike announced on their website that they have entered into a partnership agreement with the organizer BLAST Premier regarding Russian-language broadcasts of CS: GO championships. This provides for both direct independent streaming and the ability to transfer broadcasting rights to other studios and services.
The agreement is designed for 2021 and 2022 and it applies not only to the championships from the BLAST Premier series, but also to qualifying tournaments from the partners of the tournament operator. In addition, Winstrike can now start holding qualifying championships in the CIS region for this CS: GO tournament themselves.
BLAST Premier is a new format of the previously known BLAST Pro Series. RFRSH Entertainment, the organizers of the championship, converted the event to a league format with a prize pool of $ 2,475,000 last year. Now, in one season, the spring and autumn leagues are held, which end with a major Global Final tournament with an impressive prize pool.
According to the statements of Winstrike CEO Lina Komkova, the acquisition of media rights for BLAST Premier in the CIS region has become the most valuable asset for an esports organization. Over the next two years, Winstrike plans to set new records on Twitch, as was the case with BLAST Pro Series Moscow 2019, make a lot of money through more bright advertising integrations and bring the best representatives of the eSports world to Russia.
