Counter-Strike 2 Sees Significant FPS Drop After April Patch, Says Dataminer

Following the release of the April update for Counter-Strike 2, dataminer Thour has reported a noticeable drop in performance — with average FPS dropping by around 30%.

According to his benchmark results, the game previously ran at an average of 395.5 FPS. After the patch, that number fell to 278.6 FPS and 276.4 FPS across multiple tests.

The testing was conducted at a 1440x1080 resolution, using NVIDIA driver 560.94, with NVIDIA Reflex enabled — making the results relevant for many competitive players.
