According to rumors, the open beta version of CS 2 is rumored to start in September-October

Rumors suggest that the anticipated open beta for CS 2 is slated to commence between September and October. This exciting development implies that we can anticipate notable events such as Cologne and numerous Blast tournaments—far more CS:GO tournaments than we initially anticipated.

However, if the open beta is delayed until September, the transition to CS 2 will consequently be postponed. Consequently, the major tournament scheduled for the interim has been rescheduled for the following year.

Due to potential bugs, tournament organizers are unable to host events on the beta version. The complete version of the game is anticipated to be released either towards the end of this year or at the beginning of next year," shared Duncan "Thorin" Shields, expressing his viewpoint.

On March 22, Valve unveiled Counter-Strike 2, with the game's release anticipated for the summer of 2023.
