YEKINDAR, who is a Team Liquid player, shared his expectations for the new competitive season. According to the 23-year-old esportsman from Latvia, the "liquid" have a good chance in the fight for trophies, but so far the team lacks several important components for success.

We are well motivated because we made it to the finals twice in 2022. The match with Team Vitality came out very close, and in the series with G2 we were simply destroyed, but we know why it happened. If we are capable of reaching the finals, then perhaps we are able to win them. In one of the interviews, I said that I don’t see us as winners yet. We understand how much work we have done, but we also see that there is still a lot of work to be done.

We can win the championship if everyone in the team shows high individual form, runs around the map and kills everyone. But we do not yet have such a comfortable level of play to dominate the team. We don't have enough tools yet, but we're working on it. I see our development. We all notice differences and improvements in players. Each of us has taken a step forward, but there is still a long way to go. We do not want to win one tournament due to luck, but we plan to win several championships in a row. Of course, it will be difficult, but we live for this game and dream of lifting a trophy.

NAF, EliGE and nitr0 have already become champions in major tournaments, but me and oSee have not. Therefore, we are more hungry for victories. To be honest, NAF, EliGE and nitr0 also want it. I don't want to say, but they were garbage for two years, they even left for VALORANT, everything was so bad. That is why we are so motivated and trying to show our maximum. Self-development is the most important thing in life, and we just enjoy the process. Therefore, we are not at home 240 days a year. This is a lot.

Rounding off what has been said, YEKINDAR and the team are hungry for victories, but before that, "liquid" needs to work on themselves and work on their mistakes.

Currently, the North American team is playing as part of BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2023. At the time of writing, the team is preparing for the final of the lower bracket of group B, where Team Liquid will play against OG.
