Furia Introduces New Assistant Coach
The Brazilian esports organization FURIA has announced the appointment of sidde to the position of assistant head coach of the CS:GO roster. In this role, the 25-year-old Brazilian specialist will replace tacitus, who left the club at the end of last year and is preparing to join the MIBR coaching staff.
Hello sidde! sidde is now in FURIA and next to guerri he will be the new technical assistant in our roster.
sidde started his coaching career at the end of 2019 when he took over the Redemption POA team. Nine months later, the 25-year-old Brazilian specialist led the Liberty team, with which he became the winner of Aorus League 2020 Season 4, Aorus League 2021 Season 3 and The IQ Option Latin American Cup 2021, and also took third place at ESL Pro League Season 12: South America and DreamHack Open March 2021: South America.
At the beginning of last year, sidde stepped down from the coaching chair to lead Liberty's esports division. However, seven months later, the Brazilian moved to ODDIK, where he began working with a team led by sky. In a short period of time, he managed to help the team get into the top three at CBCS Finals 2022 and CBCS Invitational 2022, where he also acted as the head coach.
Happy to announce that I am now in FURIA! Thank you for your trust and I hope to further raise the level of this gigantic project. I count on everyone's support on this new journey,” sidde wrote.
Currently, the Brazilian team is preparing for the start of Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2023. Then FURIA will go to Malta, where it will take part in ESL Pro League Season 17. In addition, it is already known that the team received a direct invite to BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023: American RMR, which will take place in April in Mexico.
