Former Entropiq coach: "I heard that Kjaerbye could return to Astralis"
hooch, former coach of Entropiq, attended the traditional HLTV Confirmed show in Rio de Janeiro, where he revealed some rumors regarding further changes in the Astralis roster. According to the 35-year-old, the Danish esports organization could bring back Kjaerbye, who recently left Endpoint.
I heard a rumor that another former player will return to Astralis. Yes, Kjaerbye. I heard this from a person who works in the industry. But in my opinion, this will not happen. He didn't show up in Endpoint. Perhaps Astralis will want to give him a chance.
Kjaerbye made a name for himself with Astralis, where he joined in May 2016. Together with the team, the 24-year-old Dane became the winner and the best player of ELEAGUE Major: Atlanta 2017, and also won a number of other tournaments, including Esports Championship Series Season 2 - Finals and Intel Extreme Masters XI - World Championship.
However, after almost two years, the "golden boy" unexpectedly left Astralis, plunging the team into a real shock. Then Kjaerbye unsuccessfully tried to prove himself in North and FaZe Clan, and even left the competitive scene.
The last attempt for the 24-year-old esportsman was the call to Endpoint, where he managed to win the ESL Pro League Conference Season 16, as well as take third place in the Polska Liga Esportowa Superpuchar 2022. However, last month Kjaerbye decided to leave the team, citing personal difficulties.
In turn, Astralis continues to rebuild its roster after the failure at the RMR tournament. The club's first change was the return of dev1ce. However, the team continues to play with youth from the academy, as the organization has not found an equivalent replacement for k0nfig.
Astralis current CS:GO roster:
- Xyp9x
- gla1ve
- blameF
- MistR
- kristou (stand-in)
- castle (coach)
- dev1ce (inactive)
