The blogger compared the hitboxes of the agent models: the difference reaches 16.5%
YouTube channel author and skin creator Ansimist compared the hitboxes of agent models in CS:GO. During the analysis, he was able to find that the agents differ in head size, which is unacceptable for a competitive shooter with such a large fan base and competitive scene. According to Ansimist, the problem has existed in the game since 2015, when the Resuscitation update was released.
I always thought that CS:GO uses the same group of hitboxes for all player models, but it turned out that there are some balance issues with this. In the image below you can see the difference between the head hitboxes of the SAS and Professionals player models. It turns out that they differ by 16.75%.
After testing, Ansimist found that the agents of the SAS special forces faction have the largest head hitbox, and the smallest - the Professionals faction of terrorists. The difference in the volume of models of these agents is 16.75%.

During the study, the blogger created a program that calculates the volume of all hitboxes for all agent models. After that, he made a table with the ranking of models by head volume + a separate table with the ranking of all cards that use different factions.
As a result, Ansimist turned to the CS:GO developers with a request to correct this situation. At the time of publication of the news, Valve did not comment on the shortcomings. This initiative was also supported by other bloggers and well-known representatives of journalism.
