Sprout has presented an updated CS:GO roster
The German esports organization Sprout has unveiled an updated CS:GO roster by signing contracts with refrezh and Zyphon. The debut of the updated team roster will take place as part of the first open qualifier for IEM Road to Rio 2022 for Europe, which starts today, August 15th.
It's finally time to officially welcome not one but two very talented and technical players! Meet our new players refrez and Zyphon. We look forward to the new challenges that lie ahead of us.
The last team in refrezh's career was Heroic, for which he played from February 2021 to June 2022. In sixteen months, the 24-year-old Dane became the winner of ESL Pro League Season 13, Pinnacle Winter Series #3, PGL Major Antwerp 2022: European RMR A and Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022, and also reached the semi-finals at ESL Pro League Season 14, PGL Major Stockholm 2021 and Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Katowice.
In turn, Zyphon spent just over a year with Copenhagen Flames. In thirteen months, the 18-year-old Dane helped the team win BLAST Rising 2021, Malta Vibes Knockout Series #4 and PGL Major Antwerp 2022: European RMR B, as well as get into the TOP-3 at Elisa Invitational Fall 2021, Elisa Invitational Winter 2021 and Pinnacle Cup III.
However, after reaching the quarterfinals of PGL Major Antwerp 2022, the organization decided to sell out its roster. At the same time, Zyphon remained the last member of the team for a long time, since all other players found their places to continue their careers.
Already today, the Danish team will start its journey as part of the first open qualifier for IEM Road to Rio 2022 for Europe. In addition, very soon Sprout will go to ESL Meisterschaft: Autumn 2022 and ESL Challenger League Season 42: Europe.
The updated Sprout CS:GO roster is as follows:
- slaxz-
- Staehr
