Young Ninjas roster rebuild begins

The Swedish esports organization Ninjas in Pajamas has announced the start of a restructuring of its youth CS:GO roster, parting ways with Ro1f, 7EMPORARY and coach slap. The club also announces the start of the next round of recruitment, which will run from 3 to 17 June.

It's time for a new season of Path of a Ninja. In case you forgot, last year we gave three of our young Ninjas players the opportunity to represent our CS:GO roster, and it all started with the Path of a Ninja initiative, our academic program designed to empower the next generation of Counter-Strike players.. It's no secret that we're investing heavily in expanding our talent pool; we believe that the implementation of a sound scouting program is the key to future success. Not just for NIPs, but for lower level Swedish players in general.

While the first version of Path of a Ninja quickly moved into the Young Ninjas.GamerPay academy, the program was still running (perhaps too quietly) in the background thanks to the efforts of our inspiring brand ambassador JAEGARN. This year we are investing more resources into it, conducting trainings and much more.

Accompanied by THREAT and slap, JAEGARN will be searching for the next generation of Swedish talent through Esportal's Path of a Ninja program, which will run from June 3rd to 17th.

Ro1f and slap have been part of Young Ninjas since last summer. During this time, they helped the team get into the top three at WePlay Academy League Season 1, WePlay Academy League Season 2 and Svenska Elitserien Spring 2022. In turn, 7EMPORARY joined the team in April, taking part in WePlay Academy League Season 4 (5- 6th place).

I spend most of my time looking for and guiding young talent, both at Area Academy and NIP. We want to offer a well-established structure for these talents, almost like a scholarship, where they get the support they need to take the next step in their career. Really looking forward to continuing to develop Swedish Massive Counter-Strike with Bjorn and Fredrik,” said JAEGARN.

In the near future, Young Ninjas will introduce the following players who will become part of the youth roster.
