TACO: "Now playing CS:GO is the same as becoming a European"
TACO, who is the captain of the 00NATION team, shared his feelings about the length of the season and the need to constantly be in Europe due to the championships. According to the 27-year-old Brazilian esportsman, it's very hard to be away from home.
Now playing CS:GO is the same as becoming a European. I have been traveling with the same suitcase ever since the pandemic started in 2020. This is horror and madness for non-European players.
For Brazilians, it's even worse. It's funny when I see players complaining about being two weeks away from home. Damn it, I wish I was only two weeks away from home! I love what I do, but sometimes it's very difficult to stay focused and healthy as a non-European player.
Recall that at the end of last month, TACO, along with his fellow GODSENT members, joined the 00NATION team. Together with the team, the 27-year-old player took part in the ESL Challenger Valencia 2022 at DreamHack, where he got one victory over FURIA (2:0), but failed to reach the playoffs after losing to the Outsiders (11:16) and Sprout (0:2).
ESL Challenger Valencia 2022 at DreamHack takes place from 1 to 3 July in Spain at Feria Valencia. Eight teams from all over the world are fighting for a prize pool of $100,000, ranking points, and a ticket to the ESL Pro League Conference Season 17, which will go to the winner.
