Xyp9x is the first player to play 1000 maps in LAN tournaments
Andreas 'Xyp9x' Hoysleth, who plays under the Astralis tag, has managed to achieve what no other CS:GO player has been able to do. The e-sportsman has overcome the mark of 1000 played maps at Valve 's LAN shooter championships. HLTV statistics show that no other player has been able to achieve this in his entire career before.
Very soon, Finn 'karrigan' Andersen, who has been playing under the FaZe Clan tag since February 2021, will appear in the list of esportsmen who have played in 1000 maps at LAN CS:GO tournaments. At the time of publication of the news, the captain of the European team played in 992 maps. In 3rd and 4th place are another Dane Peter 'dupreeh' Rasmussen and Richard 'shox' Papillon. The first is currently playing in Team Vitality, and the second is listed in Team Liquid. Both esportsmen performed on the LAN scene in more than 900 maps and have figures of 937 and 925 played maps, respectively.
The statistics are based on what the HLTV portal calculates, and in reality may differ significantly from reality, since not all squads in which the players played are taken into account in the calculations.
Xyp9x recently surprised his fans with another act. For the first time in his career, the Dane couldn't get into the main stage of the Major tournament. As part of PGL Major Antwerp 2022, Astralis took 17th-19th place and left the tournament.
